Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide daily support and maintenance of EDI reports and EDI data transactions (IE. EDI810, 850, 997, 940, 943, 944, 945).
Assist in development and streamlining of automated reports and processes using tools such as Document Direct, DocuAnalyzer, Batch files, and Microsoft Excel Macros.
Provide daily user support for data analysis and gathering using reporting tools such as Business Objects, DB2, Document Direct and DocuAnalyzer.
Recommend data mining process improvements/reporting opportunities based on existing practices.
Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
Support and understand in depth the IBM system modules (IE. Orders, Contracts, Inventory, Production and Product setup).
Contribute to process development and best practice. Look at new ways to improve performance levels and supportability related to data integrity and data mining.
Document new processes and procedures for IT department. Ensure IT knowledgebase is kept current.
Maintain items and publications within data pools (1WorldSync, FSEnet, ECCnet) pursuant to GS1 US and GS1 for global data synchronization.
Other IT projects as appointed.
